ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The CSR Health Impact Awards — An IHW Council Initiative — is constituted to inspire organisations to drive a nationwide CSR–based health movement and to appeal to the corporate conscience of others to participate at a grander scale and make the movement stronger.

The awards recognises those organisations who have imbibed responsible business practices in their core philosophy by initiating the most impactful health CSR ventures that have driven change on the ground and have impacted millions of lives.

It is our guiding philosophy that focused & dedicated efforts, which impact areas directly related to health, should be recognised to inspire more hands and more initiatives to contribute towards the making of a healthy nation.

We believe that health is everyone’s priority and all business enterprises need to have health of the nation as the larger goal. Reaffirming our credo that health is the responsibility and outcome of everybody’s contribution, we are delighted to present the 6th Edition of CSR Health Impact Awards 2022.

6th CSR Health Impact Awards 2022

After the great impact and success of 5th CSR Health Impact Awards, IHW Council is proud to continue its patronage with 6th CSR Health Impact Awards 2022.

This Edition is designed to identify the best CSR projects & practices targeted to health, hygiene & environment through a validated process and recognise & reward new approaches, innovation, methods, techniques or technologies adopted, applied, designed and delivered in Health, Air, Water, Food, Sanitation and Hygiene segment with the potential for scaling up with larger impact benefiting living being and shaping the health of the planet.

Last year the world witnessed a global pandemic, with more than 113 Million affected, and 2.5 Million deaths in more than 216 countries the disaster still continues, despite the availability of the vaccines. The only hope we see in actions are the Doctors, healthcare workforce, our security forces, social impact foundations, and individuals risking their life and saving lives & livelihood on this planet.

IHW Council was touched upon the generosity and compassionate drive of these workforces and designed the virtual CSR Health Impact Awards 2020 with COVID-19 Edition. This year, in 2022, we are continuing this initiative, to recognise these COVID-19 Heroes & Champions & identify their best initiatives, contributions and projects in various segments, and reward them for their kind thoughts and efforts to save lives & livelihood in their community.
